Job Requirements for St. Augustine
As an AquaMobile swim instructor in St. Augustine, you will need:
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification: Get your two-year certification by meeting the requirements set by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Code Red CPR LLC and CPR Training of St. Augustine offer courses.
- Swim Instructor/Lifeguard certification: Obtain your valid certification from an organization that’s accredited by the American Red Cross. The St. Johns County Fire Department and Solomon Calhoun Community Center offer classes.
- Access to reliable transportation: Sunshine Bus Company (system operates si lines and two connector routes that loop in and around St. Augustine), Uber/Lyft (rideshare services, cab (Clean Taxi of St. Augustine, Abraxi Taxi, etc.), personal car
- Two or more years of swim teaching/coaching and/or lifeguarding experience
