Job Requirements for Vernon
As an AquaMobile swim instructor in Vernon, you will need:
- Up to date First Aid & CPR certification: Two-year Canadian Red Cross certification from a local course provider such as St. John Ambulance or Wolftrac Safety Ltd.
- Swim Instructor/Lifeguard certification: Pass the Canadian Red Cross written and practical exams to get your certification from an organization such as Okanagan College or the YMCA of Okanagan.
- Access to reliable transportation: Vernon Regional Transit (bus system with 12 routes throughout Vernon, Coldstream and North Okanagan), Uber/Lyft (rideshare services), cab (Vernon Taxi, Capitol Taxi, etc.), personal car
